South Hams is not a village but a government district on the southern coast of Devon which contains some wonderful towns; namely Totnes, Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Ivybridge, and Salcombe. enchantedengland: Books I am currently reading: ‘Case Histories’ by Kate Atkinson (an amazing author I discovered in England, her novel ‘Human Croquet’ was magical) ‘The Knopf Traveller’s Guide to Art in Britain & Ireland’ ’Mr. Rosenblum Dreams In English’ (Natasha Solomons) ‘Far from the Madding Crowd’ (Thomas Hardy) and ‘City of Lost Souls’ by Cassandra Clare. If you like very well written paranormal-Victorian-gothic try her ‘Infernal Devices’ series….I HIGHLY recommend them. And I am very very picky.
I like book recommendations so I thought I’d do some of my own and **delicate cough** maybe some of you will post yours as well. (Add the yelpings tag so I don’t miss them!!!)
